Can AI See Your Page?

Free tool

Can AI read your page?

Check what AI crawlers can see and read from your webpage. Compare the content available in the page's raw HTML and identify important information that may depend on JavaScript rendering.

Reads the raw HTML of one public page. No login, nothing stored.

What This AI Crawler Checker Helps You Check

Modern websites often rely on JavaScript to load or display content. If important information is not available in the initial HTML, different crawlers or systems may not process the page in the same way as a fully rendered browser.

Most AI crawlers, including GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot, mostly read raw HTML and don't run your JavaScript. If your content only appears after the page renders, they see a blank shell. This tool reads your page's raw HTML the same way, and checks the specific things that determine whether a crawler can actually read it: your title tag, your H1 heading, roughly how many words of body text are present, how many links (and internal links specifically) it finds, and whether JSON-LD structured data is present.

What This Tool Does Not Do

  • Does not guarantee that ChatGPT, Google, Claude, Perplexity, or another AI system will crawl, index, cite, or recommend your page
  • Does not provide access to private AI retrieval systems or reveal exactly how an AI model processes your website
  • Does not check robots.txt permissions; use an AI Crawler Access Checker for that
  • Results are a technical visibility check; actual crawler behavior can vary by crawler, rendering capabilities, robots.txt rules, HTTP responses, and other technical factors

Why Check What AI Can See?

A webpage may look complete when you open it in a browser, while some of its content may be generated or loaded after the initial HTML response.

  • Find important content that may depend on JavaScript
  • Understand what is available without relying on browser rendering
  • Identify a missing title, H1, thin body text, or missing structured data
  • Review pages built with JavaScript-heavy frameworks
  • Investigate potential AI and search crawler visibility issues
  • Make important content easier for automated systems to process

How to Check If AI Can See Your Page

  • Enter the webpage URL you want to inspect.
  • Click Scan page. The tool fetches and reads the page's raw HTML, the same way a non-JavaScript crawler would.
  • Review the results: page title, H1, visible body word count, internal links, total links, and JSON-LD structured data, each marked good, neutral, or needs attention.
  • If important content is missing from the raw HTML but visible in your browser, that content likely depends on JavaScript rendering.
  • Add a descriptive title and H1 to the server-rendered HTML, server-render your main content where possible, and add JSON-LD structured data, then scan the page again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can AI see my webpage?

AI systems may access webpage content through their crawlers or other retrieval systems, but the exact content they can access depends on technical factors such as HTML, JavaScript rendering, crawler permissions, and the individual system.

What does this tool actually check?

It reads your page's raw HTML and checks the title tag, the H1 heading, the visible body word count, internal and total link counts, and whether JSON-LD structured data is present, the same content a non-JavaScript crawler would see.

Does this check robots.txt?

No. Robots.txt permissions are a separate issue. Use an AI Crawler Access Checker to check whether specific AI crawler user agents are allowed or blocked by robots.txt.

Does JavaScript affect AI visibility?

It can. If important content is only generated after JavaScript executes, a crawler that does not fully render the page may not access that content in the same way as a browser.

Does passing this test mean AI will mention my brand?

No. Technical accessibility does not guarantee that an AI system will mention, cite, or recommend your brand or webpage.
