What we collect, and what we do not

Who we are

MyInscribe is a search and answer-engineering firm based in Lucknow, India, operating myinscribe.com. For the purposes of data protection law we are the data controller for information collected through this site and through our client engagements.

What we collect

We collect only two categories of personal data.

• Information you give us, your name, work email, company, website and whatever you write in an enquiry form or email. If you become a client, this extends to the contact details and account access needed to do the work.
• Information collected automatically, standard analytics about pages visited, referrer, approximate location by country, and device type. We use this to understand which pages are useful. We do not build advertising profiles.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not run retargeting pixels or advertising trackers on this site. We do not add enquirers to marketing sequences without an explicit opt-in, and we do not buy contact lists.

Why we process it

Enquiry data is processed to reply to you and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal, our lawful basis is legitimate interest, or the steps preceding a contract. Client data is processed to perform the contract. Analytics is processed on the basis of consent where required by your jurisdiction.

Client data during an engagement

Delivering our work usually requires access to your analytics, search console, CMS or CRM. We request the minimum level of access that lets us do the job, we use named individual accounts rather than shared credentials, and we ask you to revoke access when an engagement ends.

Any data we extract for reporting is stored in systems we control under access restrictions, and is deleted or returned on request within thirty days of an engagement ending.

Third parties we use

We use a small number of established processors: an email provider, an analytics provider, a cloud data warehouse, and the SEO and AI-visibility tools named on our site. Each is bound by its own data processing terms. We will name every processor touching your data in writing at contract stage.

Retention

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted after twenty-four months. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by Indian tax and accounting law. Analytics data is retained for fourteen months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Exercise any of them by emailing hello@myinscribe.com. We respond within thirty days and we do not require a form or a justification.

Cookies

This site uses a minimal set of cookies: those strictly necessary to serve the page, and analytics cookies where you have consented. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block all of them in your browser without breaking the site.

International transfers

We are based in India and some of our processors operate in the EU and the US. Where personal data is transferred internationally we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard with each processor.

Security

Access to client systems and data is limited to the people working on your engagement, protected by multi-factor authentication and stored in a managed credential vault. We will notify you without undue delay, and in any case within seventy-two hours of becoming aware, if a breach affects your data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, for active clients and subscribers, say so directly rather than relying on you to notice.
