Most SEO retainers in India buy activity, not position

The standard package is a fixed number of blogs, a fixed number of directory submissions and a monthly PDF. It is priced to be affordable and structured to be unfalsifiable, because none of those units is tied to a search anyone performs.

What actually moves position is narrower and less comfortable to sell: fixing what stops pages being crawled and indexed, building an architecture engines can reason about, and earning citations from sources that carry weight. Those are harder to package and easier to measure, which is why fewer agencies lead with them.

The four systems we build

Every one of these produces an artefact you can inspect.

01 Technical foundations Crawl budget, index hygiene, rendering, canonical logic, internal link equity and Core Web Vitals, fixed in order of revenue impact rather than audit-tool severity.
02 Search architecture Topic territories mapped to real buyer intent, then expressed as a hub-and-spoke structure with deliberate internal linking, because engines infer what a site is about from structure before they read its prose.
03 Content that earns position Every page briefed against a specific question and structured answer-first, so a reader and a model can both extract the point in one pass.
04 Authority Earned citations through original research and digital PR. No purchased links, no private blog networks, no guaranteed placements on named publications.
05 Measurement Organic sessions connected to pipeline, so the report is in enquiries rather than impressions, and a drop can be traced to the change that caused it.

How a national engagement runs

  1. 01 Terrain audit Technical, content and authority in one pass. We tell you what is broken and what is merely unfinished. Week 1
  2. 02 Architecture Territories, hubs, internal linking and the order of operations, agreed before anything is published. Week 2-3
  3. 03 Foundation fixes Technical debt cleared first, so everything published afterwards compounds instead of leaking. Week 3-6
  4. 04 Publish and earn Content and authority shipped weekly against the map, each piece scored before it goes out. Month 2+
  5. 05 Defend Monitor, refresh and extend. This is where compounding actually happens and where most engagements stop. Ongoing

Results, with the working shown

Every number here comes with the client name, the timeframe and the method. If we cannot show you how it was measured, we do not publish it.

How we price

We quote on the call. What follows is what the quote is built from, so you can work out roughly where you sit before we speak.

01 Competitive difficulty The gap between where you rank and where you want to rank, and who occupies that space now. This is measurable, and we measure it in the audit before quoting.
02 Technical debt What has to be fixed before anything published can compound. A clean site is cheaper to grow than a large broken one.
03 Content requirement How many pages need building or rewriting, and whether the expertise comes from your side or ours.
04 Authority gap Whether you need earned citations to compete. This is the most expensive line and the one most often skipped by cheaper retainers.
05 Number of markets One site in one market, versus multi-site, multi-region or multi-language.
What you are committing to
Ninety days to start Then month to month No lock-in Audit before you commit

We quote on the call, once we have seen the site and the search terrain. A number given before that is a guess, and usually a high one.

Questions buyers actually ask

The range across the Indian market is very wide, and the cheap end is usually buying content volume and directory submissions that no longer move position. We quote after the audit, because the number depends on competitive difficulty, technical debt and whether you need earned authority. If our range is wrong for you, the audit still tells you what needs doing.

Technical fixes can show within weeks. Competitive commercial terms take six to twelve months, because authority accumulates rather than switches on. Any agency quoting ninety days to page one for a competitive term is describing a keyword with no competition.

Yes, typically by a factor of three to five for comparable scope, because the cost base is lower. The quality range is also much wider, so the saving only holds if you can tell competent execution from activity. The checklist above is how.

Yes. A significant part of our work is delivered from India to clients in the US, UK and UAE. Our international SEO page covers how multi-region and multi-language work is handled.

We work nationally and have dedicated pages for Lucknow, Mumbai and Bangalore. Search is not geographically constrained, so the city only matters if you want in-person meetings or you are competing in a specific local market.

No. Google does not sell positions and does not publish the algorithm, so a guarantee is either a bet on an uncompetitive term or a lie. We commit to a documented baseline, monthly movement against it, and no contract lock-in.

Three things you can verify before signing: they can show you a documented case with the method, they will tell you what they will not do, and their reporting is in your business metrics rather than theirs.
